Hi, I'm Lisa
the founder of Lyme Bay Ladies
In 2012, after relocating to the South West and leaving behind a fast-paced corporate life, I found myself searching for more than just a business network. I was craving real connection and a space where I could feel supported and understood.
At the time, there wasn’t anything nearby that fit around raising a young child or offered the kind of authentic, nurturing environment I needed. So, I decided to create something myself!

It all began with coffee
Lyme Bay Ladies began with just a few of us meeting for coffee, sharing stories, and lifting each other up. It quickly became clear that so many women were feeling the same, craving friendship, connection, inspiration, and a safe space to be themselves, whether they were starting a new business, changing careers, facing health or family challenges or simply needing to feel part of something meaningful.
Friendship, laughter and creativity
Since then, our community has grown into a vibrant online network of over 3,400 women. We’ve built a space that’s about more than business – it’s about friendship, laughter, creativity, and sharing life in all its realness. A place where it’s okay to be vulnerable, to shine a light on your dreams, and to support others doing the same.
Support and acceptance
Through our social & Connect (business) events, workshops & talks, shared experiences, and everyday kindness, we’ve created a community rooted in love, support and acceptance. It’s a space where you’re free to be sociable, authentic, inspired and to truly belong.
